Contact lenses meeting today’s needs for comfort.

It is said that we take in 80% of information through our eyes. The amount of time the eyes of modern people spend viewing near objects, whether it’s reading mobile phone messages, using a PC or looking at magazines and newspapers, has increased significantly.
HOYA MultiView EX (L) [Light Type] lenses are ideal for those who find that their eyes easily become blurred and tired from looking at small characters from a close distance during their busy daily lives.

HOYA MultiView EX (L) [Light Type] are progressive power-type contact lenses that improve vision not only at far and intermediate distances but for near objects as well.
These popular contact lenses make it easier to read small text to make every day more enjoyable.
Note that the ease of reading small characters from a close distance varies by individual due to age and other factors. HOYA MultiView EX [Standard Type], which makes it easier to see closer objects, are also available.

The lenses in both the Light Type and Standard Type have proved popular as progressive power contact lenses.

Features

Thanks to the progressive power lens design, the lenses make it easier to see objects not only at far and intermediate distances but close up as well. This makes it easier to see small text at a close distance without experiencing blurriness. The lenses are ideal for people who read a lot of small text at arms length, such as when using PCs, reading mobile phone messages, reading books or pursuing other interests.

The lens periphery has been thinly and precisely fabricated according to a special design, resulting in minimal irritation of the eyelids. In addition, as the lenses have a large size (diameter), they exhibit excellent stability and movement is less severe. For this reason, they boast a dramatically improved sensation of use compared with conventional hard contacts. These lenses are well suited to those who are not quite happy with the sensation of use from their conventional hard contacts, as well as those using hard contacts for the first time.

Thanks to the high oxygen permeability and excellent lacrimal fluid exchange, the lenses can be worn for long periods.
(Usage times will vary between individuals. Also note that while the lenses have been approved for continuous usage up to one week, the consent of an ophthalmologist is required before beginning continuous use.)

*Progressive power contact lenses may make it difficult to view distant objects at night or in dark places due to enlargement of the pupils. Therefore, as driving in the evening or at night poses a danger, please remove the contact lenses and wear glasses during such times. Please consult an ophthalmologist for details.
